Haircut #2

Anabelle had her second haircut today (at age 4 and 2 months!) - the first was when she was 3 and 9 months. I think it makes her look very "grown up", in a good way.

My First Blog

Wow! The world of blogging has been entered....I'm a bit nervous, but for now this is just an experiment to check out the blogosphere for myself.
Lately I have discovered that I LOVE being a mum! I would always have said this, but in the last few weeks I have actually ENJOYED being a mum too. We're coming to the end of school holidays and we've all had a great time. A trip to the beach, painting, home made play doh, lots of cooking, visits to grandparents (mine and theirs), play dates here, play dates out and a trip to the art gallery. The highlight this week was spontaneous picnic in the park with Gloria, Tessa and Beth and their kids after the painting "class" at the art gallery. It was so relaxing (the weather was beautiful), there was pleasant (not too deep, not too superficial) conversations in both directions and it was just plain enjoyable. I came home praising God for the change I have noticed within myself of late. It is a pleasant change to be able to enjoy God's world.
